Crispy Cajun Boudin Balls

  • 12 oz ready-made Boudin links
  • 2 small eggs beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • ½ cup panko can sub breadcrumbs
  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • oil for deep frying (or shallow frying)


  1. Preheat your deep fryer to 350F.
  2. Remove the Boudin from their casings. Shape into 8 small balls.
  3. Beat the eggs well in a small bowl and add Cajun seasoning. Stir until well combined.
  4. Add the flour to a shallow bowl, and the panko to a separate shallow bowl
  5. Dip each ball into flour and coat. Dip in egg mixture, then allow excess egg to drip off. Dip into the panko and roll around to cover completely.
  6. Fry the boudin balls in 350F oil for about 8 minutes, or until the outside breading is golden brown

Serve with Remoulade sauce or make your own spicy mayo.
