Food Town Chili-Lime Grilled Pork Chops with Pico de Gallo

Pork Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Heat closed grill for 5 minutes on  medium-high heat (425 degrees).
  2. Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix all seasoning ingredients. Brush mixture evenly on both sides of each pork chop.
  3. When grill is heated, place pork chops on grill. Close grill and cook 5 to 7 minutes per side or until pork is no longer pink in center, and temperature of pork reaches 145 degrees. *Note: if using boneless pork chops, reduce cook time.
  4. Optional: Serve with Pico de Gallo* or lime wedges, or chopped cilantro.

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable or cooking oil
  • 4 pork loin chops, 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick (1 lb)
