Creamy Pasta Florentine

Time: 22 min.  Serves 4


  • 12 oz Skinner® Fettuccine
  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 oz low-fat cream cheese
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp instant chicken bouillon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • bread crumbs, toasted (optional)
  • grated Parmesan cheese, if desired


  1. Prepare pasta according to package directions adding spinach to water during last 4 minutes of cooking time. Drain pasta and spinach in colander.
  2. In same pot, over medium heat, combine water, cheese, bouillon and nutmeg; stir consistently until cheese is melted. Add pasta and spinach; mix well.
  3. Garnish with toasted bread crumbs and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
