Dr Pepper Slow Cooker Ribs

Prep: 5 min, Cook 6-8 hours

Serves 6


  • 4 lbs. country-style pork ribs
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. hickory liquid smoke
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 12 oz. Dr. Pepper


  1. Add ribs to the slow cooker
  2. Sprinkle over the pepper, and garlic powder, then add the onion and liquid smoke.
  3. Pour over the barbecue sauce and Dr Pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or high for 6 hours, without opening the lid during the cooking time.
  5. Serve with additional barbecue sauce if desired
