Grilled Skirt Steak (Arrachera)

Ingredients

  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 3 tablespoons of Mazola® Corn Oil
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 chipotle
  • 3 tablespoons of chopped cilantro
  • ¼ cup of ketchup
  • 2½ pounds of skirt steak (arrachera)

Directions

  1. In a molcajete or morter and pestle, place the sea salt, garlic, and Mazola® Corn Oil. Smash until it’s well blended.
  2. Add the chipotle, oregano, ketchup, and lime juice and smash until the ingredients are all combined.
  3. Spread the mix on the arrachera/skirt steak.
  4. Add the cilantro and let it rest for a couple of hours.
  5. Grill until the juice starts coming out of the beef and flip. (3 to 4 minutes per side)
  6. Let rest for 10-15 minutes and serve
