Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top of baking sheet. Pat drumsticks dry.
In a large bowl, toss together drumsticks with oil, salt, and pepper. Place chicken on wire rack and bake until crispy and cooked through turning occasionally, about 40 minutes (depending on size, until chicken temperature reaches 165°F). Remove from oven and preheat broiler.
Meanwhile, combine hot sauce, minced garlic and butter. Toss legs in sauce until coated, then transfer back onto baking sheet. Broil until crispy and golden, about 2 minutes more.

2 tablespoons olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1⁄2 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
1⁄8 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
1⁄3 cup Louisiana Hot Sauce
1⁄3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1⁄4 cup ranch dressing, for serving
12 celery ribs, for serving
