Food Town Maria Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches

Makes 12

Ingredients

• 2 pints* slightly softened ice cream of choice
• 24 Maria Cookies
• 1 cup total assorted toppings/garnishes (such as sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, crushed candy)

Directions

1. Arrange 12 cookies on a lined tray
2. Place garnishes/toppings on separate plates.
3. Scoop approximately 2 ounces of ice cream on the 12 cookies. Top with remaining cookies and press down gently. Roll sides of sandwiches in toppings and transfer to freezer and freeze until firm, about 1 hour. Ice cream sandwiches can be individually wrapped if not eaten right away.

*More or less ice cream can be used depending on the size you want your sandwich
