Mojo Criollo Carne Asada

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds skirt steak
  • 1 cup La Lechonera Mojo Criollo marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

1. In a bowl, whisk together La Lechonera Mojo Criollo marinade,
olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
2. Place the skirt steak in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade mixture over it. Seal the bag, making sure the meat is coated with the marinade, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours,
or up to overnight for more flavor.
3. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
4. Remove the skirt steak from the marinade and discard the
remaining marinade.
5. Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes per side, or until it reaches your
desired level of doneness. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
6. Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips and serve with
your favorite sides.
