In 2025, Texas Lottery sales at Food Town generated $3,761,023 in contributions to the Foundation School Fund and the Fund for Veterans’ Assistance. These programs help support public education across Texas and provide critical resources for veterans and their families.
The Texas Lottery’s impact extends far beyond individual retailers. The organization reports that statewide sales generated more than $1.77 billion for the Foundation School Fund and $31.17 million for the Fund for Veterans’ Assistance during fiscal year 2025 alone. Since its inception in 1992, the lottery has contributed more than $36.36 billion to Texas public education — and more than $296.30 million to support U.S. military veterans and their families.
