Food Town is pleased to offer mobile veterinary clinics through Texavet.

Food Town takes pride in looking out for all of our neighbors—even those with four legs. We are excited to partner with Texavet to provide monthly mobile veterinary clinics at several of our neighborhood stores!

Texas-owned Texavet believes everyone should be able to enjoy the benefits of welcoming a pet to the family — but recognizes that increased costs surrounding routine care place responsible pet ownership outside many people’s means. Texavet strives to change that by offering affordable preventative care at low-cost mobile pet vaccine clinics.

Texavet’s offerings include affordable vaccines, parasite control, and heartworm testing for dogs and cats throughout the community. You can access Texavet Mobile Clinics each Saturday and Sunday at Food Town locations around the city! (See tentative schedule below, but always check https://texavet.com/ for confirmation – due to staffing and weather, the schedule may change)

**Schedule subject to change due to weather conditions. We suggest verifying before visiting. No need to pre-register! Clinic is first come, first served. Please arrive with your pet in a climate-controlled vehicle and your cat in a cat carrier.

From Texavet: We want pets cool from the air conditioner and want to keep cats safe in their carriers. If you have prior medical records, please bring them. If not, we have technicians on site to help determine vaccines necessary to keep them healthy. Bilingual staff is available at every clinic for Spanish speakers.
