Air Fryer French Fries

  • 3 large russet potatoes
  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Sea salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Cut your potatoes for fries, any size you wish. You can peel the skins or leave them on.
  2. Place your cut potatoes in a nice cool water bath. Completely submerge the fries in water.
  3. Let fries sit one hour. This helps to remove excess starch and will help the fries crisp up more in the oven.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees.
  5. After an hour, drain and pat fries dry with a paper towel.
  6. Toss with a couple tablespoons of olive oil, salt and pepper. (can also use any spice blend you want)
  7. Add fries to bottom of air fryer basket, making sure they are all on the same level
  8. Cook 13 minutes, until crispy and golden brown.
  9. Place cooked fried on a cooling rack and store in a warm oven while you cook the other batches.
