Chipotle Chicken Taquitos

Prep: 20 min, Cook 10 min


  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup shredded queso Chihuahua, Monterey Jack or Mexican Blend Cheese
  • 1 cup HERDEZ® Chipotle Salsa Cremosa
  • 6 Corn Tortillas
  • 1⁄2 cup sour cream
  • 1⁄2 cup pico de gallo
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Toothpicks


  1. In medium bowl, stir together chicken, cheese, and salsa. Mix well.
  2. Spoon chicken mixture evenly down center of each tortilla.
  3. Tightly roll tortilla around filling; secure each with toothpick.
  4. In large skillet, heat 2 inches oil over medium-high heat until 360°F. Fry tortillas, 3 at a time,
  5. until crisp and golden brown. Repeat with remaining tortillas. Drain on paper towels; Remove toothpicks.
  6. Garnish with sour cream and pico de gallo.
