Ingredients
1 1/4lbsripe Roma tomatoes*(about 5 – 6)
1(14.5 oz) canpetite diced tomatoes**
1/4cupchopped white onion
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1jalapeno pepper,****seeded and roughly chopped
1/3cupfresh cilantro(about a handful)
1large clove garlic,roughly chopped
2Tbspfresh lime juice
1/2tspchili powder
1/4tspground cumin
1/2tspgranulated sugar(optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse in 1-second bursts until all ingredients are finely chopped.
Refrigerated for a few hours before serving. Serve with tortilla chips.
Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
