Food Town Funfetti® OREO® Whoopie Pies

Ingredients

COOKIE INGREDIENTS

  • 1 package Funfetti® OREO® Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 3 Eggs
  • ½ cup Softened Butter
  • ½ cup Water

FILLING INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tub Pillsbury™ Funfetti® OREO® or Vanilla Frosting

Ready Time: 75 minutes
Yield: 18 Sandwiched Whoopie Pies

Directions
  1. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or spray lightly with no stick cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine cake mix, eggs, softened butter, and water. Mix until combined. About 1 minute.
  3. Scoop batter by the tablespoonful on to baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
  4. Bake 8-10 minutes until set being careful to not over bake. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets and place on cooling rack. Cool completely before filling.
  5. Once cookies are completely cooled spread frosting on the flat side of one cookie. Sandwich with the flat side of another cookie.
  6. Roll edges of the cookie where frosting is exposed in the OREO® cookie crumbs from the lid of the OREO® frosting tub.
