Food Town shoppers can now get their groceries delivered through a new partnership with Shipt. The Houston-based grocer has 31 stores in and around Houston.
Customers use Shipt’s app to place orders for same-day delivery, with some orders available in as soon as one hour. The annual membership, available at Shipt.com/food-town, is being offered for $49, a discount from the regular $99 price. Shipt announced the partnership Tuesday.
A subsidiary of Birmingham, Ala.-based Target Corp., Shipt delivers groceries and other products from retailers such as Target, Petco and Sur La Table.
